The Presessional English course

I came to Birmingham has been more than one month , in this month I learned a lot. Such as english skills , cooking skills and the most improtant thing is I made many friends .For Monday to Friend , I have a class. On the weekend , school will arraged our excursious. Everyday I felt fuul and happy.Of course, sometimes I will felt worry ,because there have a lot of homeworks must do it .In the morning , we have learned writing, reading and listeng skills with our tutor Oana . Afternoon we changed another tutor named N.V ,she tought us grammer , words and speaking. After class, we will get together and went to ASDA to bought some food materials, then cook a big meal .

On Saturday, we have a short-distance trip,what impressed me most is the university of Oxford and the castles in Welsh .Because before I went here ,I often watched British TV series which have a beautiful castle and the decorated so gorgeous, and now I can came tp the castle to feeling the British royal life in ancient which makes me unforgetable.

Speaking of friends, this is my biggest gain this month, we came all the way from China, gathered here, this is the kind of fate. Every day we class together, do the homework together, travelled together. Everyone will get together in a class soon, learning the major courses, I am really looking forward to the day soon.

My memorable thing

  I have a bottle of candy which is the last time my grandmother bough it to me in my birthday. I never opened it. My grandmother was diabetic , but she was very strong and optimistic. She loves me so much. I remember the day she told me to go with her shopping. I was so happy ,because eveytime she would gave me bought some snacks. When we arrived to the supermarket ,she lets me picked out my own favorite. I walked around ,studdenly i found a beautiful glasses bottle which were many colourful candy in it. I want to bought it , but when i saw it will 50RMB i stoped it. It was so expensive (at that time a normal woker’s salary just have 400). But my grandmother saw i liked it so much , she didn’t hesitate and help me bought this candy. A few months, my grandmother pass away ,i was so sad . So i dicided never ate this candy . When i miss her ,i will took this candy . Because this is my grandmother left to me the last and meaningful thing.

My favorite singer

  Adele is my favorite singer who is a telent singer. Her voice is very appealing. I prefer to listen her song named :”someone like you .” The melody of this song is great .I remember the first time i heard this song when i broken up with my boyfriend . I felt so sad at that time. I walked alone and heard the song , she used her unique voice told about a girl and broken with her boyfriend. She was bery strong don’t cry and bless her ex-boyfriend to found the right person. I shocked , not only the lyrics but also her voice , because when i hear voice ,i feel not so sorrow and thouht why i didn’t like her to be strong. I asked myself so many times ,and finally figured out, not sad.

The thouhts about the song named “i ain’t got no”

This song was about slaves who were stripped of everthing . The black woman sang this song in order to encourage those slaves living in the dark society ,they need to be encouaged at the edge of despair , they need someone to encouage them and give them hope ,so that they have to live and have hope to struggle for freedom. I think this song is very inspirational. The song tell those people who are depress . Any difficultes will be gone , as long as there is confidence , perseverance ,we will be able to reach a better future.

Culture shock

  Moving to a new country is an exciting and scareing thing.Be exciting because , at the beginning ,we arrives in a new environment ,everything is fresh.Different people ,different environment and different food. At this time ,the spirit is happy. But this time is not long and was broken by some trivial things. At first is the language problem. Everyday you are hear english and sometimes it have some accents, you probably have a lot of things do not understand . For example , you do not know how to open a bank account, do not use the ATM, go to the restuarants and see the menu , do not how to order it, when the food come, you will find it not taste good. When you checkout , do not know how much you should pay. This phenomenons are all the culture shocks. But the culture shock is not all negative effects. There are also many positive effects, such as people can understanding of different cultural background, improve the friendship between countries and promote economic development.

Cosmatic surgery’s harzard

  Beauty is human nature ,cosmatic surgery can make us become beautiful.But everything have two sides,it also have many risks.First, liposuction could cause fat embolish. When the fat is sucked,the destroyed damaged fat droplets along small veins into the blood ,causeing organ embolization .Although liposuction technology is relatively mature,the incidence happen only1/200,000, but must pay attention before surgery risks.Second cosmatic surgery is still have any hazards exists.For

instance ,November 15th 2010, a girl went to the hospital in wuhan do the face grinding bone surgery,however,it is a simple surgery, but there was an accident .The girl’s blood throug the larynx into the trachea ,and then she died.Third , when thepeople finished the surgery,the recovery time surffering.Now York cosmatic surgeon Paul Lauren said:” In the first few weeks after surgery,the patients often came to and ask he is not a problem?’They become anxiety.In fact ,cosmatic surgery takes a long time to heal .You may have bleeding ,prolong congestion,or lumps symptoms.In addition ,for a long time ,you can not live like a normal person .For example,in breast augmentation surgery after two or three weeks ,you can neither lifting heavy objects nor can lift his arm over the shoulder.Accidentally, the filler will be misplaced or harden.Throughout the nose after the surgery, if you want to resume a normal life within a few days, then be sure not to be too hasty.Otherwise,you blood pressure will rise up andburst, so that your nose will look blue and swollen.

 

     There are many cosmetic surgery’s dangers and disadvantages,so i think it should be banned.
